With more than 16 new manufacturing firms locating or expanding existing facilities in the community since 1993, demands on the area workforce are increasing. The creation of a Workforce Development Program by the Greene County Partnership is addressing both current and future needs for additional well-trained employees for the community and the area. The Greene County Partnership Education Training Community Action Team's mission is to enhance communication of educational and training opportunities in Greeneville and Greene County. To facilitate these communications, the Internet was chosen as the distribution source. This web site provides a comprehensive listing of training programs available to local individuals, as well as to local employers looking to provide educational and training opportunities to their employees.
